Speedweek finale at Grays Harbor Raceway canceled due to weather

The scheduled SCCT Speedweek finale for tomorrow at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma has been canceled due to the impending wet weather. 

With an unfavorable forecast the decision was made by both SCCT and Grays Harbor Raceway to call off tomorrow’s event.

Western Sprint Tour Speedweek will now conclude tonight at Skagit Speedway.  

Sprint Car Challenge Tour President Scott Russell commented on the cancellation:

“The forecast right now is not optimal and rather than have teams sit around all day tomorrow and have a chance at a rain out, both SCCT and Grays Harbor Raceway mutually decided it was in the best interest to cancel the event. We look forward to finishing off Speedweek tonight at Skagit and returning to Elma next season.”
