Former Trophy Cup champion Willie Croft is set to be a common sight this season with the Elk Grove Ford Sprint Car Challenge Tour presented by Abreu Vineyards. The Sacramento driver is coming off a 2016 campaign that saw him win the final night of the Trophy Cup, en route to a fourth place finish in the overall standings at the event. He also drove his immaculate Holy Smokes BBQ/ Amerikote No. 29 to a victory in the Chris & Brian Faria Memorial at the Thunderbowl Raceway in May. Croft will begin the year competing regularly with the tour and is a certain favorite to challenge for wins.
