This Saturday in Watsonville is the final race prior to the all-important cutoff for the “Pacific Sprint Cup Invitational” at Silver Dollar Speedway. Following the Johnny Key Classic we will contact the top-32 in SCCT points for competitors to declare their entry for the Wednesday September 7th event in Chico. If somebody among the top-32 isn’t planning to run, we will then go to 33rd on down until a full field is secured.
The Pacific Sprint Car Invitational will be the 13th round of action for the Sprint Car Challenge Tour presented by Elk Grove Ford and Abreu Vineyards. It launches the 68th annual “Gold Cup Race of Champions” week at Silver Dollar Speedway, which features the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars the ensuing three nights on September 8th, 9th and 10th.
Wednesday night following the races a concert showcasing Tim Dugger will occur on the fairgrounds to entertain the masses.
